CARLISLE, Pa. - Dickinson football head coach Brad Fordyce has announced the addition of Logan Baxter to his coaching staff for the upcoming 2026 season. Baxter arrives in Carlisle after working at Division I Princeton University from the Ivy League.
At Princeton, Baxter served as a Quality Control coach for the defensive line and special teams. His responsibilities included all opponent film breakdown and self-scouting analysis to support weekly defensive game planning. He worked directly with the defensive line unit to implement technique and scheme adjustments, specifically leading meetings for defensive tackles and contributing to the development of freshmen who earned Ivy League weekly honors.
Prior to his time in the Ivy League, Baxter spent two seasons as a Graduate Assistant at Misericordia University. During his tenure, he led the defensive line and safeties, helping the secondary rank fourth in the conference by allowing only 176.4 passing yards per game. He also coordinated the kickoff return unit, which ranked second in the conference with 23.2 yards per return, and managed a field goal block unit that recorded three blocks.
In addition to his on-field coaching, Baxter served as an Academic Coordinator for high-risk students and played a significant role in recruiting, managing over 100 on-campus visits and 74 accepted students during the 2023-2024 cycle. He also served as the Assistant Video Coordinator and led the Junior Varsity program to an undefeated 3-0 record as their Defensive Coordinator.
A native of Brick, New Jersey, Baxter was a standout student-athlete and three-year team captain at Misericordia. He was the first player in program history to earn Second Team All-Conference honors and was a consistent Academic All-Conference selection. He finished his playing career with over 100 tackles and 12 sacks. Baxter holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from Misericordia University.
