ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Dickinson softball team looked to build on their split against Haverford on Tuesday afternoon with a trip to Muhlenberg College. However, the Mules used a seven-run third inning to notch a 10-2 win in game one, before storming back from 5-1 down in the night cap to unfortunately grab a 6-5 victory in eight.

Team Records: Dickinson (5-8, 1-2 Centennial) | Muhlenberg (16-7, 1-2 Centennial)
Pitching Decision: W - Morgan Bobrowski (8-2) | L -
Abby Kohan (2-2)
Inside the Game
- After a quiet top of the first against Morgan Bobrowski, two straight singles and a sacrifice bunt put two in scoring position with one out for the Mules. Lillie Teague then provided a sac fly to left scoring one, before Abby Kohan got Hailey Godin to groundout.
- Dickinson answered back during the second when a single for Erin McMahon and free pass worked by Kohan set the stage for Amelia Plescia to lash an RBI single to right. Unfortunately, a popout from Aubrey Coyle and strikeout of Aubrey Gilbert retired the side.
- The third saw scoring from both sides as with two gone Jane Lloyd drew a walk off of Bobrowski which led to an RBI double off the stick of McMahon making it 2-1 heading to the home-half. However, the Devils lead would be short lived as the Mules had the first seven reach of the frame resulting in six scoring and leaving the bags full. Lucia Cantarinha and Sofia Gallahue each notched an RBI groundout versus reliver Emory Hadden pushing the advantage to 8-2 with three in the books.
- Muhlenberg used three singles and a walk to plate one in the fourth, while three base hits against new arm Skye Cooke resulted in one more coming home to give the home side the 10-2 run-rule victory.

Pitching Decision: W - Abigail Kim (2-1) | L -
Emory Hadden (0-2)
Inside the Game
- With one down in the first Jessie Sandusky was hit by starter Josie Krieman and McMahon worked a two-out walk to put two on for Marah Goldman. She stepped up and ripped a pitch to center driving home the game's first run. McMahon then took to the circle and allowed a one-out triple to Gallahue, but pitched around it with two straight pop-ups.
- Lauren Routzahn produced a one-out infield single an inning later. However, she was stranded out there as Krieman got Coyle to popout and Alex Johnson to line out. With one gone in the home-half, base knocks for Scooter Hulsen and Skyla Campisi gave way to an RBI double to left for Peri Kahn. With two in scoring position McMahon dug deep and set down the ensuing pair of hitters to keep it tied.
- Dickinson reclaimed the lead in the top of the fourth when with two-out and one on a two-bagger from Coyle into deep center field plated Plescia who had singled earlier. Next up was Johnson who was safe on an error at first allowing Coyle to race home. McMahon returned to the circle and posted the much needed shutdown frame giving the Red and White a 3-1 lead through four.
- An infield single from McMahon followed by three consecutive walks to Goldman, Kohan and Plescia allowed McMahon to cross for a 4-1 edge. That brought Kim in from the pen and she got Routzahn to watch a third strike, before issuing a base on balls to Coyle to give the Devils the 5-1 lead after four-and-a-half. With two down in the back-half of the fifth Godin legged out an infield single, prior to Hulsen notching an RBI double to left-center cutting the deficit to 5-2.
- The home side completed the rally over the ensuing two innings as Cantarinha worked a walk and scored on a Gallahue triple during the sixth (5-3). Then, in the seventh, a pair of walks and single had the bags full with two down for the Mules against Kaylie Renner. Unfortunately, that was when Bobrowski was brought off the bench to hit and she did her job collecting a two-run game-tying single. Hadden then entered the game retiring Sophia Giambalvo on a groundout to force extras.
- Coyle was placed on second to begin the frame and went to second on a sacrifice from Johnson. After Sandusky was plunked, both Lloyd and Hadden were retired. The Mules opened their chance with a sacrifice bunt. Batter's interference on Izzy Wilmot gave the Red and White a chance to get out of the inning unscathed, but Lillie Teague was able to poke a pitch to right scoring the runner to complete the sweep.
