LANCASTER, Pa. - The Dickinson softball team has had a pair of players recognized for their on-field contributions this season as both senior Jane Lloyd and first-year Amelia Plescia have been named Second Team All-Conference the league office announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Lloyd, the native of Yardley, Pennsylvania, earned her third all-conference selection after appearing in and starting 33 games for the Red and White posting a .312 batting average with 26 hits and 12 stolen bases, while working 28 walks. Defensively, she recorded a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage thanks to 19 put outs and two assists. On the season, she had six multi-hit games including a season-high three knocks in game one of a conference doubleheader against Ursinus College on April 11th. Lloyd also had six games where she tallied two or more put outs in the field.  

Plescia, the resident of Norwood, New Jersey, made her rookie season memorable by playing and starting in 33 games notching a .337 batting average which was aided by 32 hits including eight extra base hits to go along with 15 RBIs. In the field, she racked up 24 put outs and 50 assists leading to a .937 fielding percentage. Plescia posted multiple hits in eight games and tallied a knock in 22 of her final 28 games of the year, while ending the season on a four-game hitting streak where she was 6-of-13 with four RBIs and one run scored.
