CARLISLE, Pa. - Coming off their biggest win of the season over No.10 Gettysburg College, the 13th-ranked Dickinson men lacrosse team returned to action on Saturday afternoon for a non-conference showdown with St. Mary's College of Maryland. The Red and White struck twice in the opening 40 seconds and never looked back cruising to an 11-5 home win over the Seahawks.

- The game began with a bang as Ryan Backus won the opening faceoff and ran right down the field firing a shot past Ty Spencer. He then won the ensuing draw and got the ball ahead to Ramsey Huggins for the finish making it 2-0.
- Dickinson recorded the next four shots thanks to Preston Boyd, Mac Childs and Drew Stark, but none of them tested Spencer.
- St. Mary's then found some offense as Braeden Colegrove, Owen Wynot and Jaxson Zapoli forced two stops by Rocco Bognet, before Wynot cashed in.
- Bognet and Spencer each picked up two more saves over the final five minutes to leave the score at 2-1 heading to the second.
Second Quarter
- Dickinson made it 3-1 just over two minutes in as Jack Deady knocked the ball free from Joshua Martel leading to Stark finding Charlie Baughan.
- Offerings from Taner Marusa and Huggins missed the mark, prior to Huggins connecting with Boyd for the 4-1 edge with 11:24 left.
- The Devils continued to keep the pressure on with Ben Monroe, Cullen Mulhern, Huggins, Marusa and Stark combining for seven shots during the next three minutes resulting in three more Spencer stops.
- Bognet then continued his strong start to the day by tallying three more saves in a three minute stretch. In the final minute, Ethan Ackerman popped the ball loose from Carson Giannelli leading to an unassisted marker by Monroe (5-1).
Third Quarter
- At the 1:50 mark, Luke Whalen rippled the net for a 6-1 advantage.
- The next eight combined shots between the two sides all went wide of frame, which resulted in Whalen burying his second of the period (7-1).
- Baughan, Boyd, Huggins, Monroe, Mulhern and Whalen kept firing away throughout the remainder of the period, but only tasked Spencer into making one save as the period came to a close.
Fourth Quarter
- Brady Manakil trimmed one off the gap at the 2:15 mark, but Tommy Baldini responded a minute later for an 8-2 edge. Backus followed with another win at the X setting the stage for Stark to score, before Chase Squires put the rock in Marua's stick leading to him finding Monroe making it 10-2 just over six minutes in.
