BALTIMORE – First-year
Miguel Reich bashed a second inning three-run homer to trim a 4-0 deficit to 4-3. Unfortunately, the rest of the game belonged to the fifth-ranked Johns Hopkins University as they posted a 22-4 Centennial Conference win at Babb Field on Friday afternoon preventing the Red and White from notching a season sweep of the Blue Jays after winning 8-6 in Carlisle on Tuesday.

Inside the Game
- After Dickinson went down in order to start the game, the home side came to bat in the bottom half versus Nolan Ross and using a walk and error put themselves in the position for William Jaun to plate one with a single. Then, Lukas Geer stepped up and whacked a three-run homer over the center field wall to take a 4-0 edge through one.
- Dickinson responded quite nicely in the second against Keren Collins as a two-bagger by Kyle Bailey and free pass to Luke Gartland set the stage for Miguel Reich to launch one beyond the left field fence trimming the gap to just 4-3. Ross attempted to put together a needed shut down frame, but he found himself in a tight spot with two down with a walk and single putting two in scoring position. However, he got Geer to bounce out to short retiring the side.
- Hopkins added onto their advantage during the last of the third when with one away a walk to Damian Brown gave Clay Hartje the ability to extend the margin to 6-3 with the Jays second blast of the day. Unfortunately, for the Red and White the hosts kept on the attack into the fourth using five hits and taking advantage of one DC miscue to plate six more to extend the lead to 12-3 heading to the fifth.
- With two gone and a runner at first, Johnny Bruno deposited a triple out to deep center to hack one off the deficit (12-4), but the Jays took advantage of three walks along with a trio of singles to make it 16-4 with five in the books.
- Dickinson would go six-up, six-down over the ensuing two innings, while the home side grabbed six more in the last of the sixth to set the 22-4 final.
