SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Dickinson women's tennis team collected one point on Saturday afternoon thanks to a three-set win at number one singles by
Jenna Crain. Unfortunately, it would not be enough as the 16th-ranked Swarthmore College picked up a 6-1 conference win at the Faulkner Courts.

The third pair of
Alisa Steele and
Loretta Szych grabbed one game off of Riya Rao-Ella Strickler in a 6-1 defeat. The other two duos of
Natasha Sharnoff and Crain (1st) as well as
Anabel Romero Gemmell and
Merve Uyumazturk (3rd) were each kept off the scoreboard in identical 6-0 setbacks.
Singles (Garnet 5-1)
Dickinson's lone point came at the top spot where Crain dropped the first 6-0 to Lola Diaz, before rallying back to take the second 6-4 and ultimately the super tiebreaker to win the match. Steele nabbed four games off of Strickler (6-3, 6-1). Both Uyumazturk (4th) and Szych (6th) each won three games from Hannah Kideckel and Paola Almeda.
Chloe Heller (5th) gave it a go at five, but fell 6-2, 6-0 to Rao, while Sharnoff dropped a 6-0, 6-1 decision on the three line.
