She would make it 1-0 with a two-bagger to left center, before Aubrey Gilbert notched an RBI single to center for a 2-0 edge after three-and-a-half. Erin McMahon returned to the circle for the home-half and provided a clean frame thanks to a pair of strikeouts and a fly out.

  • After a scoreless seventh, Dickinson began the eighth with the automatic runner on second. A bunt single for Raefski had two for Jessie Sandusky. During her at-bat both runners stole a bag and thanks to an errant throw by the catcher allowed one to score. Sandusky and Jane Lloyd then came up with RBI singles to extend the advantage to 6-2. Both Marah Goldman and McMahon reached on AC miscues leading to a two-run single by Plescia making it 8-2 heading to the home-half. Inside the Game
  • Both starting pitchers Skye Cooke and Alexis Laboy were good early as each allowed a few runners over the first two innings, but did not let anyone in.
  • In the top of the third, singles for Sandusky and Aubrey Gilbert along with a walk to Lloyd filled the bags with two gone for McMahon. • Kaitlin Mulry and Plescia singled for their respective sides during the fourth, but were both left on base.
  • The top of the fifth was when Dickinson put together their offensive charge as with one down two on, Lloyd reached on an AC miscue allowing one to race home still leaving runners on the corners. Lloyd would swipe second, before McMahon provided a sacrifice fly to make it 2-1. Lloyd took third on a passed ball during Kohan's at-bat which let her score when Kohan sent the Laboy offering right back up the middle (3-1).
  • Dickinson maintained their two-run advantage until the last of the sixth when a single and hit batter signaled the end of the game for Cooke as Emory Hadden took over in the circle.
