Devils Secure Home Match With Senior Day Win Over Mules

HERSHEY, Pa. - The Dickinson women's tennis team secured the hosting rights for next Tuesday's Centennial Conference Tournament Play-In match by knocking off the visiting Muhlenberg College by a final of 6-1 inside the Hershey Racquet Club on Saturday afternoon. Prior to the match the Red and White honored their two seniors Maddie Lindquist and Alisa Steele.

Doubles (DEVILS 2-1 | Count as one point in team score)
The match opened up with the senior duo of Steele and Lindquist taking down Taylor Current-Ella Pomeranz by a score of 6-1. Dickinson then claimed the point with the top pair of Jenna Crain and Natasha Sharnoff besting Caitlin Bestrycki-Charley Madlock (6-1). Muhlenberg did prevent the sweep as Kety Gaidamashvili and Sydney Madlock holding off Anabel Romero Gemmell-Merve Uyumazturk (6-3).

Uyumazturk made it 2-0 DC with a 6-0, 6-2 win over C. Madlock at four, before Steele ended her senior day by taking down Bestrycki (6-0, 6-1). Crain kept the train rolling at one by defeating S.
