LANCASTER, Pa. - For the second time this season a Dickinson women's tennis player has been recognized by the Centennial Conference office as the CC Player of the Week with junior
Jenna Crain earning the honor the league announced on Tuesday.
Crain, the native of Reisterstown, Maryland, went 2-0 at No. 1 singles and 1-1 at No. 1 doubles against Franklin & Marshall and Muhlenberg last week. Against F&M, she and partner
Natasha Sharnoff fell just short of a win at first doubles before she bounced back with a 6-4, 2-6, 1-0 victory over Natalie Untermeyer at the top singles spot. Against Muhlenberg, she once again teamed with Sharnoff for a 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles and posted a 6-0, 6-2 triumph over Sydney Madlock at No. 1 singles.Â
She and the rest of the Red Devils return to action later this afternoon at 4pm when they host Washington College in a Centennial Conference Tournament match at the Hays Tennis Courts.
