(Wilkes-Barre, Pa.) – The Dickinson College women's tennis
team suffered a 5-2 setback at Wilkes University on Wednesday
afternoon. The Colonels opened a 3-0 lead, capturing doubles, and
clinched the match with wins in the fifth and sixth singles
flights.
First-year Shannon
Lavery (Huntington, W. Va.) won in straight sets in
the second flight, 6-0, 6-3 while Nora
Hajnoczky (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) earned the
Devils' other point with a 7-5, 6-0 win in the fourth flight.
