College senior Alex Bybel (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster
Mennonite) was named the Centennial Conference
Women's Tennis Player of the Week. |
Bybel led the Red Devils to a 2-0 week, securing a Centennial
Conference playoff bid with wins over Franklin & Marshall and
Washington. She recorded four points, winning two doubles points
and improving to 7-0 in the fourth singles flight with a pair of
wins. Bybel clinched the match vs. Washington, winning 6-3, 1-6,
6-2.
The Red Devils conclude the regular season this afternoon,
hosting Bryn Mawr College. They travel to Swarthmore for the
Centennial Conference semifinals on Saturday. Match time is set for
11:00 am.
