Box Score

(Brooklandville, Md.) – The #7-ranked Dickinson men's lacrosse team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 13-8 win over #17-ranked St. Mary's College of Maryland, at the St. Paul's School on Saturday.

The Red Devils took a slim, 1-0 lead in the opening quarter as the defenses held through 15 minutes of action. They tacked on three goals in the second quarter to hold a 4-0 lead, going into halftime.

St. Mary's found some offense in the third quarter, but the Devils matched their four-goal output to take an 8-4 advantage into the fourth.

The Devils would extend the lead to 12-5 before the Seahawks tallied three straight to pull within four. First-year Tyler Llewellyn (Cockeysville, Md./Loyola Blakefield) closed out the scoring, with an assist from fellow alum Brian Cannon (Reisterstown, Md./Loyola Blakefield) with 1:19 remaining in the game.
