(Baltimore, Md.) – The Dickinson women's tennis team suffered its first Centennial Conference loss, falling to defending champion, #1-ranked Johns Hopkins University, 9-0 on Wednesday.

Senior Shannon Lavery (Huntington, W. Va./Huntington) put up a fight at number one singles, falling to Abby Clark, 6-4, 6-3.

Madeline Altholtz (Cohasset, Mass./Cohasset) came up short in a 7-5, 7-5, set-back in third singles.

The Red Devils look to get back on the winning track on Saturday. They return home to face Bryn Mawr College at 1:00 pm.
