(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 setback to #2-ranked Johns Hopkins, on Friday afternoon.
Sarah Cantor (Providence, R.I./Wheeler School) took three games from Anna Kankanala in the fourth singles flight, and joined Stuart Lemay (Harwich Port, Mass./Westover) to win three games in the second doubles spot.
Emily Sprague (South Burlington, Vt./Bluffton) battled in the fifth flight, falling 6-3, 6-3. Joana Nunes (Carcavelos, Portugal/St. Julian's) claimed two games in the top flight.
The Blue Jays improve to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the Centennial Conference. The Red Devils slip to 1-5 overall and 0-2 in the CC. They were scheduled to host Ursinus College on Saturday, but that match has been postponed to Friday, April 3rd at 3:30 pm.
