(Baltimore, Md.) – The Dickinson women's tennis team fell to #12-ranked Johns Hopkins University on Wednesday, suffering a 9-0 setback in Baltimore.
Joana Nunes (Carcavelos, Portugal/St. Julian's School) and Madison Parks (Denton, Md./North Caroline) played a strong match in the second doubles flight, dropping a 9-7 decision.
Nunes had a strong second set in the fourth singles flight, falling 6-2, 6-4. Emily Sprague (South Burlington, Vt./South Burlington) also played well in the fifth, suffering a 6-4, 6-3 decision.
The Red Devils fall to 3-3 overall and 0-2 in the Centennial Conference. They travel to Ursinus College on Saturday for a 1:00 pm start.
