(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's tennis team put up a solid fight against #12-regionally ranked Haverford College on Sunday afternoon.

Seniors Joana Nunes (Carcavelos, Portugal/St. Julian's) and Madison Parks (Denton, Md./North Caroline) celebrated senior day, coming for two of the Devils' three points. They turned in a great performance in the top doubles flight, rolling to an 8-2 victory.

Parks earned another point with a (7-6, 6-1) win in the second singles flight. Junior Lauren Altschuler (Malvern, Pa./Eastern) had a strong showing in the top singles flight, winning her match, 6-1, 6-3.

Haverford improves to 8-6 overall and 6-2 in the Centennial Conference. The Red Devils slip to 3-9 overall and 2-5 in conference play. They are scheduled to face Muhlenberg College on Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 pm.
