(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's tennis team suffered a 7-2 setback to visiting Swarthmore College on Saturday afternoon at the Hays Tennis Courts.

Senior Lauren Altschuler (Malvern, Pa./Eastern) had a strong showing in the top singles flight, earning one of the Devils' points with a 6-1, 6-2 victory.

Classmate Emily Sprague (South Burlington, Va./South Burlington) outlasted Shivani Gupta (6-3, 0-6, 10-7) to claim the fifth singles flight.

Altschuler partnered with first-year Lexi Epstein (Falmouth, Maine/Waynflete) in the top doubles flight, battling to an 8-4 setback.

The Red Devils slip to 4-6 overall and 0-2 in the Centennial Conference. They are home again on Wednesday, hosting Franklin & Marshall at 4:00 pm.
