(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's tennis team celebrated senior day with a decisive 9-0 win over visiting Bryn Mawr College on Saturday morning.
Senior Lauren Altschuler (Malvern, Pa./Eastern) won the top singles flight in straight sets (6-4, 6-3) and joined first-year Lexi Epstein (Falmouth, Maine/Waynflete) for an 8-5 win in the top doubles spot.
Epstein added a 6-0, 6-0 win in singles while classmate Hanna Butler (Gibson Island, Md./Severn School) surrendered just one set in a 6-1, 6-0 decision. Butler posted an 8-1 win in doubles, joining Olivia Shea (West Hartford, Conn./Kingswood Oxford) in the number two spot.
Shea won in straight sets in singles, playing in the four spot. Emily Sprague (South Burlington, Vt./South Burlington) added a pair of wins, going straight sets in singles and posting an 8-4 win with Neve Brennan (Bala Cynwyd, Pa./Lower Merion).
Kirsten Brodeen (Fort Collins, Colo./Rocky Mountain) added a 6-1, 6-3 win in singles.
The Red Devils finish the season 9-9 overall and 5-5 in the Centennial Conference.
