(CHESTERTOWN, Md.) – The Dickinson women's tennis team slipped past Washington College, 5-4, on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils took a 2-1 lead after doubles with Ariana Goitz (Gibsonia, Pa./Shady Side Academy) and Hanna Butler (Gibson Island, Md./Severn School) claiming the second flight, 8-6, and earning a walkover point in the third.

Butler earned another point with a straight set win in the second singles flight while Goitz survived the four-spot in three sets.

Dickinson claimed its final point with a walkover decision in the sixth singles flight.

The Red Devils finish the season 5-2 overall.
