CARLISLE, Pa. - For the second straight season the Dickinson men's soccer team has booked themselves a spot into the Round of 16 in the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament on Saturday at the University of Lynchburg. The Red and White will battle the host Hornets at 1pm, before Emory University and Rowan University square off at 3:30pm.

Inside the Devils Den (15-0-7, 5-0-4 Centennial)
Schedule Overview
- Dickinson opened the season with back-to-back ties at Virginia Wesleyan (1-1) and at Christopher Newport (0-0) respectively.
- The Devils then ran off six consecutive wins over Salisbury (2-0), Widener (2-0), Messiah (3-0), Alvernia (5-1), Shenandoah (1-0) and the conference opener against Ursinus (4-1).
- The Red and White then posted five wins and five ties during their next ten matches to secure the top seed in the Centennial Conference Tournament.
- Dickinson's postseason has been outstanding as they have outscored their four opponents between the Centennial Conference Tournament and the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament by a combined 14-0. First, they picked up a 3-0 win over Muhlenberg in the Semifinal, before knocking off Johns Hopkins 4-0 for the conference title. Last weekend against NC Wesleyan and Denison the Devils continued to be "red hot" posting victories of 5-0 and 2-0.
Home Sweet Home
- Dickinson ended their home slate undefeated in Carlisle going 9-0-3 mark at Miller Memorial Field.
All-Conference Honors
- The Red and White had eight athletes named to the All-Conference Team, in addition to having Head Coach Jorge Chapoy and his staff be named the CC Staff of the Year for the second straight season.
- Nicholas Dwamena, Luke Finkielstein, Saul Iwowo, Ethan Jarden and Jackson were all tabbed for the First Team with Iwowo being chosen as the CC Offensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive year.
- Keeper Nick Potter nabbed a spot on the Second Team.
- Jeremy Sallade garnered Honorable Mention, while Patrick McCune was chosen to the All-Sportsmanship Team.
Dynamic Duo
- The All-Conference pair of Iwowo and Jarden have been hard to stop this season combining for 56 points on 19 goals (nine match-winners) and eight helpers on 125 shots (59 on target).
- Last weekend, the two were dominant as well with Iwowo collecting four goals including a hat-trick against NC Wesleayn. Jarden also chipped in a helper versus NC Wesleyan, before netting a goal against Denison.

Holding Down the Backline
- The defensive group of Finkielstein, Fryberger, McCune and Wolf among many others have been vital in solidifying the Devils backline all season long helping to post a dozen shutouts.
Keeper of the Cage
- Potter has been outstanding for the Red and White as the full-time starter going 15-0-6 between the sticks with an .848 save percentage (39 saves) and a 0.36 goals-against average.
- Sophomore Gavin Marr has made four appearances as well making five stops en route to a 0-0-1 record, while Aidan George notched two appearances in relief.
The Hornets Nest (19-1-2, 8-1-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference)
Schedule Overview
- Lynchburg began the season with a win over Maryville, but then suffered back-to-back draws with Berry (0-0) and Salisbury (1-1).
- The Hornets then went on an absolute tear picking up victories against St. Mary's (Md.) (3-2), Regent (9-0), Mary Washington (1-0), Franklin & Marshall (4-1), Randolph-Macon (2-1), Randolph (3-0), Averett (9-0), Messiah (5-1) and Virginia Wesleyan (1-0).
- Their lone loss of the season so far came against Hampden-Sydney on October 15th as the Tigers grabbed a 2-0 win.
- They ended their regular campaign with four straight wins all by shutout.
- Their postseason has been flawless so far with wins in the ODAC Tournament over Eastern Mennonite (4-1), Bridgewater (3-0) and Washington & Lee (2-1). Last weekend, in the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament they bagged wins against Transylvania (4-0) and Christopher Newport (2-1).

Schedule Overview
- Emory opened the 2025 season winning ten straight matches against Washington & Lee (1-0), Covenant (2-1), NC Wesleyan (1-0), Wisconsin Lutheran (6-0), Maryville (7-1), Berry (3-1), Ozarks (4-0), Hendrix (5-1), Piedmont (4-0) and Sewanee (5-0).
- They had a rough time at the start of the conference season drawing with both Carnegie Mellon (1-1) and Brandeis (1-1), before beating New York (6-3). After that win they suffered another draw to Chicago (1-1) prior to dropping a 1-0 decision against Washington (Mo.). The regular season came to a close with wins over Case Western Reserve and Rochester by scores of 1-0 and 2-1 respectively.
- The strong regular season was good enough to book the Eagles a spot in the NCAA Tournament. In the first round, they posted a 3-1 win over Maryville in a rematch from earlier in the year. They then turned around the next day and took down Hampden-Sydney by a 3-0 scoreline.

Schedule Overview
- Rowan started the campaign with victories against New York (4-3), Franklin & Marshall (2-1), Gettysburg (2-1), Messiah (4-3) and Cortland (1-0).
- Three of the next five matches saw the Profs slip up as they tied Scranton (1-1), while suffering defeats to Haverford (0-2) and Rutgers-Newark (1-2).
- After a win over New Jersey City by a score of 3-0, Rowan fell to Rutgers-Camden (3-4) and drew both Alvernia and William Paterson by identical 1-1 margins. They ended the regular season with wins in four of five taking a tie in the other match against Montclair State.
- One goal was all it took for the Profs to nab the conference title notching 1-0 wins over William Paterson (Quaterfinal), Stockton (Semifinal) and The College of New Jersey (Final).
- Last weekend in the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, Rowan blanked Bridgewater State 1-0, before knocking off the host Wesleyan (2-0).
