Senior Leadership
From the Mind of Coach Sutton
- Thoughts on Schedule
- What have you seen in the preseason that has you excited about the season?
- Our team has been working hard on the court and has already shown improvement in the first couple weeks of the preseason. The energy that the team brings to each practice, which are often late in the evenings, has me really excited for the season.
- How have your first-years acclimated to the college game so far?
- We have a big class of first-years this year that will make up half of our starting lineup. It's been really impressive to see how quickly they've adapted and solidified themselves as consistent contributors. I expect all of them to build off a strong fall and have great seasons.
- What is your outlook for the year ahead?
- We are a really young team this year with a lot of talent, and I think we have the opportunity to have a great season if we are able to stay together and stay healthy. I'm excited to get started on Friday with our first test down at Salisbury.
