LEXINGTON, Kent. - The Dickinson volleyball team earned some recognition on Monday afternoon when the squad received the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award as announced by the organization.

In order to earn this honor, a team must maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale, or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale. 

Red Devils head coach Jenn McMonagle had this to say about her team's accomplishment. "This group worked incredibly hard both on and off the court and it is great to see them get recognized for their effort and determination."
