Returning All-Conference Performers Senior Leaders Key Attacking Returners
  • The pair of Mallie Thomas and Kim will be key for the Red and White if they want to find success this season as both return to the court after pacing the squad in kills last season. Kim led the way with 278 on a .239 attack percentage, while Thomas posted an impressive 235 as a rookie averaging 2.80 per set and chipping in a team-high 56 aces.
  • Jessica Currie is the only other returner who posted over 100 kills adding 101.
  • The trio of Emery Fishbach, Eliette Whittaker and Davis are back looking to build on a solid 2024 where each of them racked up over 50 kills combining for just shy of 200 at 198.
Setting Tandem
  • Dofiles enters her final season with the Devils as their top returning setter after recording a team-high 356 assists last year to average just under five a set to go along with her 29 aces. She is joined by returners Lora Flynn and Butcher who joined up for 157 assists and 35 aces during 2024.
The Defenders of the Court
  • Butcher led the side in digs by a wide margin last year putting up 386 to average 4.29 a set, while her next closest challenger was Thomas on 167 (2.0 per set). Also, in the 100-plus club was Kim (155) and Dofiles (122).
  • At the net, Whittaker is the top returning athlete following a season of 51 blocks, including 11 solos. The trio of Currie, Fishbach and Kim each put up over 20 blocks, while Thomas and Flynn added 15 and 11 respectively.
Welcome to the Devils Den From the Mind of Coach McMonagle
  • Thoughts on Schedule
    • We want to use our competitive non-conference schedule as a launching point to get us ready for a very competitive Centennial Conference slate. We know that it is in the conference matches where it will be determined whether or not we make the postseason. So, it is our non-conference opponents that give us the chance to work out different rotations and ideas that will only make us better when we need to be.
  • How have your first-years acclimated to the college game so far?
    • Our first-years doing great, but they are really giving us much needed depth and providing more competitive practices. At the same time they are battling hard for their opportunities to be on the court during matches which is what a coach wants to see.
  • What do you want fans to see when they watch you play?
    • I think the biggest thing is I want everyone to see that we love being out on the court and are enjoying the game, but at the same time I want them to see a hard work ethic and a competitiveness that shows we are giving it our all.
