LANCASTER, Pa. - Following a phenomenal undefeated regular season and claiming their first Centennial Conference title since 2011, the Dickinson men's soccer team was recognized on Tuesday morning with eight players appearing on the All-Conference Team as announced by the league office. The Red and White had a few repeat winners for the specialty awards as well with senior
Saul Iwowo being named CC Offensive Player of the Year for the second straight year, while head coach
Jorge Chapoy and his staff nabbed CC Coaching Staff of the Year. Joining Iwowo on First Team was fellow seniors
Luke Finkielstein,
Ethan Jarden and
Jackson Wolf along with sophomore
Nicholas Dwamena. Senior keeper
Nick Potter was tabbed for the Second Team, while junior
Jeremy Sallade grabbed Honorable Mention. Sophomore,
Patrick McCune was named the Red Devils choice for the All-Sportsmanship Team.
Special Awards
Iwowo, the native of London, United Kingdom, earned his fourth all-conference recognition after pacing the Red and White in goals (12), game-winning goals (6), points (27), shots (59) and shots on goal (29). His biggest point outburst of the season came on October 8th in a 6-1 home win over non-conference foe Lebanon Valley when he racked up two goals on five shots (four on target) and two helpers. In the Centennial Conference Semifinal against Muhlenberg he notched one goal in the 3-0 win.

Seth Stover repeated as Staff of the Year following an undefeated campaign so far of 13-0-7, including an unblemished 5-0-4 within the Centennial Conference. In addition to bringing the first conference title to Carlisle since 2011, Coach Chapoy and his team are going dancing in the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season starting this Saturday at home against North Carolina Wesleyan.
First Team
Dwamena, a native of Kumasi, Ghana, earned his second all-conference honor following his Second Team appearance in 2024. He has so far played in 16 matches, making 14 starts leading the side in assists with seven, while adding three markers to total 13 points. Dwamena had two matches where he had one goal and one assist that came against Messiah (9/10) and in the conference title match on Sunday versus Johns Hopkins (11/9).
Finkielstein, out of West Windsor, New Jersey, has appeared in and started 19 fixtures for the Devils collecting four goals (two game-winners) on 20 shots (seven on target). The Centennial Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player and two-time all-conference selection tallied one goal in each of the CC Tournament contests and helped to clear numerous crosses out of dangerous areas using his 6-foot 3-inch frame.
Jarden, from West Chester, Pennsylvania, received his third all-conference recognition following another strong campaign in which he scored seven goals gave out three assists over 20 matches played so far. He posted a five contest on October 4th when he notched a brace as well as handed out a helper in the Devils 4-0 win. During the two game conference tournament run he gave out one assist in the 3-0 semifinal victory over Muhlenberg.
Wolf, a native of Austin, Texas, secured his first all-conference honor after appearing and starting in 19 games playing nearly 1600 minutes on the Devils backline. He has been a crucial part of the Dickinson backline cleaning up numerous attacking threats from the opposition and helping the Red and White to posting a dozen shutouts on the season.
Second Team
Potter, out of Evanston, Illinois, has had quite the impressive final season in a DC kit going 13-0-6 between the sticks with a fantastic 0.40 goals-against average and an .825 save percentage. He has had two sparate three match runs where he recorded shutouts with one streak coming against Washington (Md.) (9/27), Gettysburg (9/30) and Franklin & Marshall (10/4) as well as the last three matches he has played in versus Muhlenberg (10/31), Muhlenberg (11/7) and Johns Hopkins (11/9).
Honorable Mention
Sallade, the resident of Princeton, New Jersey, appeared in and started 19 matches to grab his first all-conference recognition. During the season he has given out five assists which ranks second on the side and tied for third in the conference. Against Lebanon Valley back on October 8th he dished out three helpers, before chipping in one during the conference tournament setting up Finkielstein for the second marker in the 3-0 win over Muhlenberg in the semifinal.
The Red Devils continue their season on Saturday with an NCAA Tournament First Round match against North Carolina Wesleyan University at Miller Memorial Field. Kickoff is slated for 1pm.
